A public lottery organisation is improving its customer-facing website, built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5, as part of the ongoing development of its digital and retail ecosystem. As an AEM junior Functional Analyst, you will connect Marketing and Sales with the technical team, translating business requirements into functional specifications for responsive design, content components, and clear user journeys.
The mission
The organisation operates a high-volume lottery ecosystem across retail outlets, web channels, and a mobile application. Its digital platforms need to support activity peaks of up to 5,000 participations per minute, while keeping journeys such as checking, scanning, purchasing, and validating straightforward. The AEM team is improving the website structure and content capabilities used by business teams. You will work with business stakeholders and an Adobe Solution Architect to align requirements with the AEM platform.
Your scope covers workshops, functional analysis, and delivery preparation from the initial business need through testing. You will clarify requirements, recommend suitable AEM assets, components, pages, templates, and site structures, and document the decisions for development. In an Agile setting, you will prepare user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira or DevOps, then demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders. Your output gives developers and business users a shared specification and supports consistent implementation of SEO and user journey requirements.
