A large IT organisation is evolving its Agile Way of Working across delivery teams, management, and strategic and tactical IT functions. This senior Agile Transformation Coach role connects Agile maturity assessments, Agile governance, and organisational design with practical coaching for Agile Coaches, teams, and IT leadership.
The mission
The transformation covers the current operating model, decision rights, collaboration with architecture, security and portfolio management, and the organisation’s ability to deliver and improve through Agile and Lean. You will assess strengths, gaps, risks, and maturity at team, management, and organisational level, then translate the findings into a prioritised transformation roadmap. The work matters because governance, leadership behaviour, metrics, and team practices must support the same strategic direction.
Your scope runs from analysis and target operating model design to implementation guidance and sustainable knowledge transfer. Day to day, you will work with IT management, Agile Coaches, teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to make decisions, facilitate workshops, resolve dependencies, and define measurable outcomes. You will also coach and mentor the Agile Coaching Team, helping it handle complex change and transformation questions with increasing autonomy.
Your responsibilities
- Lead Agile maturity assessments and organisation analyses, producing clear findings, risks, priorities, and concrete improvement actions.
- Shape a transformation strategy and roadmap that converts digital strategy into sequenced initiatives, milestones, dependencies, and decisions.
- Design an Agile governance framework and target operating model with clear roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and collaboration models.
- Establish an OKR, KPI, metrics, and maturity-indicator framework for tracking delivery, flow, quality, progress, and value.
- Coach and mentor Agile Coaches and IT management through workshops, leadership coaching, stakeholder alignment, and complex change situations.
- Facilitate adoption of new ways of working through practical tooling, communication, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.
