Job description

We are looking for an Angular Portal Designer and Developer to create and maintain enterprise portal applications connected to SAP and other business systems. You will combine interface design, front-end development and integration to deliver a consistent, accessible user experience.

Your role

  • Turn business requirements and user journeys into portal concepts, wireframes, prototypes and interface designs.
  • Build responsive interfaces and reusable Angular components, services, forms and libraries.
  • Integrate applications with SAP and other back-end systems using REST APIs and, where applicable, OData services.
  • Work with technical teams on authentication, authorisation, data models, service contracts and error handling.
  • Investigate defects and performance issues, contribute to architecture and design reviews, and support solutions in production.
  • Validate designs with business analysts, process owners, architects and end users.

  • Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of application security principles.
  • Knowledge of browser security principles.

  • Knowledge of web performance principles.
  • Skills in UX/UI design for portal applications.
  • Skills in wireframing.
  • Skills in interface prototyping.
  • Effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Clear technical documentation skills.
  • Clear communication of technical solutions.
  • Experience integrating web applications with SAP back-end systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP OData services and APIs.
  • Knowledge of SAP authorisation concepts.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience in environments with SAP business processes and data.
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical designs.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and its differences from custom Angular applications.
  • Experience with SAPUI5 and its differences from custom Angular applications.
  • Experience with SAP API and integration technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise identity providers.
  • Experience with single sign-on.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience modernising or replacing legacy enterprise portals.
  • Knowledge of component-based design systems.
  • Ability to challenge requirements constructively when they affect usability, security or maintainability.
  • Ownership from initial design through implementation and production support.
  • English at B2 level.
  • French at C1 level.
  • Dutch at C1 level.
