We're looking for a senior API developer to build the critical parts of a compatible replacement for an existing API. You'll expose database metadata and pass validated submissions to existing loading code.
What you'll do
- Analyse the existing API documentation to define the implementation scope.
- Define API security, highlighting differences from the existing model.
- Implement metadata and validated submission endpoints with meaningful errors.
- Deliver production-quality code with automated tests and technical documentation.
- Deploy and demonstrate the solution on Linux.
- Document covered scope, limitations and steps needed for production.
