Job description
We are looking for an Application Tester to support the digitalisation of heritage case management on an integrated Odoo platform. The platform will bring together heritage protection, restoration and grant processes, reference data and data publication, with connections to web, geospatial and other applications. You will help secure the quality of complete user journeys before business users carry out their functional validation.
Your role
- Support the functional test coordinator in applying the test approach and strategy across the platform and its integrations.
- Establish a business testing framework with business testers, covering methods, governance, responsibilities and deliverables.
- Help prepare and structure functional test scenarios, check their completeness and execute them before business validation.
- Draw up compliance and regression test plans for the whole platform, including its interfaces.
- Write and maintain test scenarios in Xray and Jira.
- Collect defects and non-conformities, communicate results to the teams responsible and support corrections and improvements.
- Build a detailed technical and functional understanding of the platform from the early stages of the project.
- Work with project managers, programme leads, the quality and test coordinator, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the testers’ community of practice.
You have
- At least three years of experience as an Application Tester.
- A very good understanding of the technical aspects of applications, backed by at least three years of experience.
- At least three years of experience in clear, accessible technical writing.
- At least three years of experience executing tests in a dedicated test environment, such as SoapUI, with an understanding of its technical operation.
- At least three years of experience with Jira.
- At least three years of experience with Xray.
- At least three years of experience with Scrum.
- At least three years of experience in test automation, for example with Playwright.
- At least three years of experience in software testing, including test plans, execution, reporting and defect follow-up.
- At least three years of experience in test management, covering compliance, integration and performance testing.
- A very good understanding of how applications support business processes.
- French at C2 level.
