Role Overview

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer you'll join a multidisciplinary squad based in BRUXELLES and own end-to-end quality for enterprise digital solutions (web, mobile and backend cloud). You will design BDD scenarios, develop Selenium/Java automation, and embed tests into Jenkins CI/CD to ensure reliable releases and fast feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Champion end-to-end quality across the delivery pipeline, ensuring features meet acceptance criteria before they reach production.
Design and prioritise BDD test scenarios with Cucumber/Gherkin to protect key enterprise user journeys on web and mobile.
Develop and maintain robust Selenium + Java automation suites using TestNG/JUnit and Maven to reduce manual regression time.
Integrate automated tests into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines, analyse results, and drive fast remediation with clear defect reports.
Troubleshoot automation and application issues across staging and production-like environments; collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
Architect scalable, maintainable test frameworks and document processes and metrics that inform team decisions and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

Minimum 6+ years' hands-on experience in test automation with strong expertise in Selenium and Java, building and maintaining reliable test suites.
Proven experience applying BDD with Cucumber/Gherkin to translate requirements into executable acceptance tests.
Solid command of TestNG and JUnit for structured test execution, reporting and parallelisation.
Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and Maven.
Confident use of Git for source control, branching and collaboration.
Applied knowledge of ISTQB standards and experience designing test plans, test cases and test data for both functional and non-functional testing.

Nice to Have

Experience with Perfecto or other mobile device/cloud testing platforms.
Hands-on API automation experience (RESTful services) and tools to validate backend behaviour.
Demonstrated adaptability in fast-changing Agile environments and a collaborative, feedback-driven mindset.
