A major financial institution in Belgium is completing the evaluation and aftercare of its 2025 Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) submission while preparing the 2026 annual report. Within the finance function, the Senior Business Analyst CSRD will turn European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) requirements into data-gap analysis for regulatory reporting, stakeholder governance and a delivery roadmap, with MS Office and Excel central to the work.
The mission
The CSRD programme connects Finance, Risk, Data, Business, Compliance, Engagement and Sustainability, Facilities, and HR stakeholders. The 2025 reporting cycle is in evaluation and aftercare, while the requirements and delivery approach for the 2026 edition are being prepared. The role also assesses how EBA Guidelines on ESG risk management, the Omnibus package and PTP initiatives align with CSRD. This work supports consistent regulatory reporting, clear data ownership and documented governance decisions.
You will lead the business analysis stream across the CSRD programme, clarifying disclosure requirements and the data needed to implement them. You will compare required disclosures with existing information, document gaps and support stream leads in preparing their contributions. You will facilitate the ESRS stakeholder network across the programme, maintain the project plan, roadmap and resourcing view, and provide governance updates. You will also coordinate with group entities and monitor progress against reporting deadlines.
