The mission
Business Solutions operates between business departments and the IT organisation, shaping solutions from initial ideation through implementation. The work covers business solutions for broker channel and non-life activities, with a focus on requirements, functional alignment, testing, delivery and ongoing support. It matters because the quality of this analysis directly affects how business users adopt and use digital services.
As a mid-level business analyst, you will clarify business needs, structure requirements and maintain alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams. You will contribute to digital solutions in a Belgian insurance organisation, from early solution design through testing and rollout. Your work will be organised independently, with regular reporting to the responsible manager and clear communication with the involved business and IT stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Shape digital solutions by turning business needs and ideas into clear, prioritised requirements.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with business stakeholders to identify objectives, constraints and expected outcomes.
- Translate requirements into functional descriptions that IT teams can use during solution delivery.
- Coordinate business input throughout implementation, keeping stakeholders aligned on scope, progress and decisions.
- Plan and execute testing activities, confirming that delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements.
- Support solution rollout and post-delivery activities by helping users, analysing feedback and coordinating follow-up actions.
Your profile
Essential skills
- Bring 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with practical exposure to requirements analysis and solution design.
- Work confidently with business analysis tools used to capture, structure and communicate requirements.
- Conduct effective interviews and communicate clearly with both business users and IT professionals.
- Analyse information critically while remaining focused on client and user needs.
- Organise your own workload, manage priorities and work independently with regular progress reporting.
- Learn new processes and tools quickly and apply them consistently in a project environment.
Preferred skills
- Understand non-life insurance processes or have experience in the insurance sector.
- Have worked with digital technologies and digital delivery initiatives.
- Apply Scrum/Agile ways of working in requirements, delivery or stakeholder collaboration.
- Understand UI/UX principles and their relevance to user-facing solutions.

Education
