A public financial institution in Luxembourg is preparing an internal awareness programme on Business Continuity and Crisis Management for staff who do not work in this specialist area. The Business Continuity Awareness Consultant will create and deliver an interactive 60 to 75-minute session, using a generic scenario simulation, role play or gamification to explain practical continuity and crisis response principles. Three to four English-language sessions will be delivered to groups of up to 25 participants during one calendar week.
The mission
The programme will introduce business continuity and crisis management to a varied internal audience within the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg’s financial system. The organisation needs a memorable, accessible format that explains why continuity planning and crisis response measures matter without relying on organisation-specific procedures. Sessions will be delivered in person to staff based in Luxembourg City, with each group limited to 25 participants.
You will own the design and delivery of the training concept, from the activity structure and generic scenario to the equipment and learning outcomes. Your work will connect specialist Business Continuity principles with practical decisions that participants can understand and discuss. The planned delivery window is 28 September to 2 October 2026, with three to four sessions of 60 to 75 minutes in English.
Your responsibilities
- Design an interactive business continuity and crisis management session around a simple, generic scenario.
- Facilitate three to four sessions for groups of up to 25 participants, maintaining active participation throughout.
- Translate specialist continuity and crisis management concepts into clear, relevant examples for non-specialized audiences.
- Apply role play, gamification or other interactive training techniques to make the key lessons memorable.
- Define the session outline, required equipment, learning outcomes and supporting materials.
- Collect participant feedback and use it to improve the format and support positive recommendations within the organisation.
Your profile
Essential skills
- Bring relevant professional experience in Business Continuity, operational resilience or crisis management.
- Demonstrate workshop animation and training capability, including confident facilitation of varied groups.
- Design interactive training for non-specialized audiences and explain complex subjects in clear, practical language.
- Use role play or gamification techniques, or comparable methods, to support participation and learning.
- Prepare a high-level concept that clearly sets out activities, equipment and learning outcomes.
- Be available to deliver the sessions between 28 September and 2 October 2026.
Languages
- English, CEFR B2 or higher, with confident spoken delivery and facilitation capability.
