Job description

We are looking for a Construction Lead to coordinate the execution of industrial HVAC or electrical works. You will help deliver ongoing and new projects safely, bringing contractors, project managers and technical teams together throughout the construction phase.

Your role

  • Coordinate contractors and work schedules, including smaller maintenance projects.
  • Arrange site access, work preparation, permits and the documents needed by contractors.
  • Monitor technical execution and quality, identify deviations and involve the right specialists.
  • Maintain construction records, document changes and progress, and report significant issues.
  • Act as the first point of contact on site, chair contractor meetings and contribute to site meetings.
  • Support site safety through risk analyses, hazardous-work permits, toolbox meetings and checks on protective equipment.
  • Record incidents and lessons learned, and help improve working methods.

You have

  • At least four years of experience in organisational change management, used within the last year.
  • At least four years of coordination experience, including within the last year.
  • At least four years of experience in industrial HVAC or industrial electrical systems, including within the last year.
  • At least four years of experience in contract management, including within the last year.
  • At least four years of experience in project management, including within the last year.
  • Dutch at C2 level.

A plus

  • Strong communication with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience executing, coordinating or supervising works on industrial electrical installations or HVAC installations.
  • Ability to read and use technical plans when supervising works.
  • Ability to read and use execution documents when supervising works.
  • Ability to read and use technical specifications when supervising works.
  • Ability to supervise technical site works, identify deviations and discuss them with the parties involved.
  • Experience in an industrial, nuclear or other highly regulated environment.
  • Ownership of work and responsibilities.
  • Ability to keep an overview of multiple works and priorities.
  • Process-oriented thinking and the ability to improve working methods.
  • Interest in a long-term collaboration.
