A banking organisation is strengthening its enterprise architecture for the credits domain, aligning business objectives, information structures, and IT solutions across credit-related initiatives. This senior Credit Domain Architect role combines enterprise architecture, hands-on credits domain expertise, and general knowledge of financial services to shape target architecture and guide projects from design through implementation.
The mission
The architecture function maintains the enterprise information architecture for the credits domain and the cartography of IT assets, covering both current-state and target-state views. The work connects business strategy with solution, data, integration, infrastructure, and security constraints. Architectures must support project milestones and budgets while moving the existing landscape towards a coherent target architecture. The role also contributes to the adoption of cloud technology and other relevant technology concepts where they fit the organisation's standards.
As Credit Domain Architect, you will analyse business and project objectives, design architectures, and follow the realisation of approved solutions. You will document deviations from the target design, report their impact, and propose adjustments to reference architecture or implementation plans. Your scope includes architecture certifications and homologations for solutions that affect the credits domain, as well as ensuring group banking standards are applied. You will work with business stakeholders, project teams, IT delivery, infrastructure, and security colleagues in a multicultural environment.
Your responsibilities
- Translate business strategy and credit-related objectives into practical architecture changes and target-state designs.
- Define and maintain enterprise information architecture, IT asset cartography, and relevant as-is and to-be views.
- Design solution architectures that respect project milestones, budgets, infrastructure requirements, and security constraints.
- Assess the adoption of new technologies, cloud packages integration, and architectural concepts against business and technology needs.
- Follow implementation progress, document deviations from approved designs, and recommend realignment where required.
- Certify and homologate solution architectures affecting the credits domain while ensuring applicable banking standards are followed.
