Data Scientist AI Solution Lead

We're looking for a senior Data Scientist and AI Solution Lead to take advanced analytics, Machine Learning and generative AI use cases from business scoping through production and monitoring. This role combines hands-on solution delivery with technical leadership and AI governance aligned with the EU AI Act.

What you'll do

• Lead AI use cases from value assessment through deployment and monitoring.
• Challenge business needs, test feasibility and recommend priorities and investment.
• Develop advanced analytics, Machine Learning and generative AI solutions, or oversee delivery.
• Coordinate business, data and IT stakeholders and manage risks, dependencies and decisions.
• Define AI governance processes to assess, approve and track initiatives and value.
• Review technical work, coach colleagues and advise on implementation choices.

What you bring

• At least seven years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or AI.
• End-to-end delivery experience, from business scoping through production and monitoring.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, Machine Learning and generative AI.
• A solid understanding of solution industrialisation and MLOps.
• Experience as a senior technical reference, reviewing work and coaching colleagues.
• Ability to assess value and feasibility and explain recommendations to business and management audiences.
• A good understanding of enterprise AI governance and regulatory compliance, including the EU AI Act.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in regulated environments.
• A university degree in a quantitative or technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• English (C1) and French or Dutch (C1).
