Job description
We are looking for a Data Warehouse Developer to bring data from multiple sources together and build a foundation for AI models. The mission combines data warehouse modelling, reproducible pipelines and open road and traffic data, with attention to privacy and route-planning constraints.
Your role
- Plan, design and build data warehouse applications and components.
- Access data through a federated query engine and develop reproducible pipelines.
- Bring data sources together and enrich models with open road and traffic data.
- Build a route-planning calculation model with configurable constraints.
- Work with a DPO on data minimisation and pseudonymisation.
You have
- Experience in data minimisation with a DPO in a public-sector context.
- Experience in pseudonymisation with a DPO in a public-sector context.
- At least three years of experience in data warehouse modelling.
- Experience accessing data from a data platform through a federated query engine, such as Trino or Starburst.
- Experience building reproducible data pipelines.
- At least one year of experience combining data from multiple sources into a data foundation for AI models.
- Experience enriching models with open road and traffic data, such as OpenStreetMap.
- Experience in project-based work and data warehouse modelling, or training in data warehouse modelling.
- Hands-on experience building a route-planning calculation model with configurable travel-time, capacity and time-window constraints.
- Experience planning, designing and building data warehouse applications using tools such as Cognos or DataStage.
- Dutch at C2 level.

- Knowledge and experience of data warehousing concepts, processes and architectures.
- Experience building ETL components.
- Experience building BI reporting and analysis components.
- Experience building databases for a data warehouse.
- Experience building metadata components for a data warehouse.
- Knowledge and experience of Agile development.
