Job description

We are looking for an Expert Programme Manager to lead a programme spanning data and technology projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and steer cloud infrastructure and AI development towards scalable, stable and production-ready solutions.

Your role

  • Lead the programme and align its projects, teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate business stakeholders, architects and external suppliers across projects.
  • Steer cloud infrastructure for data and AI solutions, considering performance, scalability and operational stability.
  • Direct AI solution development from architecture choices through to a production-ready environment.
  • Manage project risks and issues, set priorities across projects and translate policy and business needs into deliverables.

You have

  • At least eight years of programme management experience in infrastructure or development projects.
  • At least 15 years of experience in infrastructure projects or development projects.
  • At least three years of experience leading multiple multidisciplinary teams in a government context.
  • At least three years of stakeholder management across projects in a government context, involving business stakeholders, architects and external suppliers.
  • Experience leading a programme spanning multiple data and technology projects.
  • Experience directing cloud infrastructure for data and AI solutions, with attention to performance, scalability and operational stability.
  • Experience directing the development of AI solutions, from architecture choices to a production-ready environment.
  • Dutch at C2 level.

A plus

  • Experience using project management techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of risk management.
  • Knowledge of issue management.
  • Experience with the terminology, organisation, roles and processes of a project management methodology, such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
  • Ability to transfer expert knowledge of project management methodology.
  • A project management methodology certification.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ITIL.
  • Knowledge of and experience with a programme management methodology, such as Agile, Scrum or MSP.
  • A programme management methodology certification.
  • At least six years of Agile experience with data and AI solutions.
  • At least six years of product ownership experience for data and AI solutions, including cross-project prioritisation and translating policy and business needs into deliverables.
