A federal public-sector organisation responsible for specialised judicial policing is building a web-based Case Management System to support international police cooperation and the structured handling of operational case information. As a Frontend Web Developer, you will develop an Angular Web SPA with Module Federation, applying Clean Architecture and REST APIs while first establishing shared foundations and then adding modules for specific European use cases.

The mission

The platform will provide a common client layer for several operational capabilities. Its backend exposes central services through an integration layer, while the wider solution follows a microservices and micro-frontends model with containerised, highly available and scalable execution. PostgreSQL forms part of the data landscape, and the infrastructure is provisioned through Infrastructure as Code. Development follows Scrum, with shared foundations delivered before specialised modules and ongoing maintenance.

You will work as the frontend specialist for one client application that consumes this service catalogue. Your scope covers service integration, entity and data modelling, modular user interfaces, authentication and automated testing. The initial phase focuses on the common base layer, followed by new functionality and integrations for police instances across Europe. Once the solution is in use, you will maintain it, update its technologies and deliver modules requested by users.

Your responsibilities

  • Build modular Angular SPA foundations and feature modules with NX and Module Federation, enabling shared capabilities across the client.
  • Integrate REST APIs and translate service data into reliable workflows for collecting, persisting and updating operational case information.
  • Implement authentication and authorisation with OpenID Connect and OAuth2, aligned with the application's security model.
  • Deliver interfaces from UX/UI designs using RxJS and PrimeNG, applying Clean Architecture to keep the codebase maintainable.
  • Protect releases with unit testing and integration testing on the client side, using results to improve delivery quality.
  • Manage Git branches, pull requests and code reviews, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines within the Scrum delivery process.

Your profile

Essential skills

  • Several years of experience in a similar frontend web developer role, with the ability to deliver and maintain production web SPAs.
  • Strong capability in Angular, NX, RxJS, Module Federation and Clean Architecture for modular frontend development.
  • Practical experience integrating REST APIs, working with PostgreSQL-backed services and modelling data for standardised use across modules.
  • Experience applying OpenID Connect and OAuth2 for frontend authentication and authorisation.
  • Experience with Git, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines, including branching, pull requests and code reviews.
  • Ability to write unit tests and integration tests and to work effectively in a Scrum team.
  • Adaptability, solution orientation and clear communication when technical direction or project priorities change.

Languages

  • English, professional working proficiency, approximately CEFR B2.
  • One national language, active professional proficiency, approximately CEFR B2.
  • A second national language, passive understanding, approximately CEFR B1, is an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
