We're looking for a Health Data Governance Advisor to shape practical solutions for health data governance and secondary data use. The work applies European and Belgian EHDS developments to functional and process requirements.
What you'll do
- Analyse health data governance needs.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
- Assess how changes affect business processes, metadata, data flows and systems.
- Document data assets, governance practices and working processes.
- Interpret policy and regulatory information for functional and process implications.
- Support alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you bring
- Senior-level experience with data or data governance matters, and a relevant academic background.
- Knowledge of data ownership, metadata, data quality, reference data, catalogues, and clear roles and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of a data governance platform such as OpenMetadata.
- Python and SQL skills for documenting, monitoring and improving data assets.
- Healthcare sector knowledge and understanding of data systems and integration contexts.
- Functional analysis and requirements management skills.
- Knowledge of European and Belgian EHDS developments and secondary use of health data.
- English (B1), Dutch (B2), French (B2).
