A Belgian vocational training network with five training centres and 24 campuses across Flanders and the Brussels region is reviewing how its processes, governance structures, application landscape and service models support education delivery. As an ICT Business Analyst Consultant, you will contribute to business analysis, BPMN process mapping and requirements analysis for vocational training services, working with stakeholders and senior consultants throughout the assignment.
The mission
The organisation coordinates activities across a distributed network of training centres, which creates a broad analysis context covering processes, capabilities, governance and supporting applications. The consulting assignment combines organisational assessments with the documentation of current ways of working and service models. Findings must be structured clearly so that decision-makers can compare options and validate the direction of the project. The assignment is expected to run over multiple years, subject to approval of the work by the organisation.
You will support the analysis, design and validation phases from preparation through final deliverables. Your day-to-day work will include preparing interviews and workshops, collecting and assessing information, mapping processes, analysing stakeholders and documenting findings. You will translate this input into requirements, capability overviews, application and governance documentation, and PowerPoint storylining for project deliverables. Feedback from validation sessions and stakeholder consultations will be incorporated into the next versions of the analysis.
