A Belgian public utility is strengthening the resilience, security and availability of its information systems through infrastructure modernisation and NIS governance initiatives. As IT Project Manager Infrastructure, you will coordinate projects including the deployment of a CMDB, the implementation of a disaster recovery plan, infrastructure solution replacements and IT transformation work, while applying structured change management across the organisation.
The mission
The technology department is delivering several infrastructure projects that support service continuity, regulatory compliance and the modernisation of the organisation's IT environment. The programme includes CMDB implementation, disaster recovery planning, NIS2 initiatives and the preparation of technical specifications for future infrastructure solutions. Projects must be managed in line with GDPR, ISO27001, NIS2 and relevant IT governance practices.
You will own the delivery framework for each assigned project, from scope definition and planning through implementation and closure. Your work will connect technical teams, vendors, IT governance stakeholders and business representatives, with responsibility for dependencies, risks, assumptions, resources, costs, timelines, reporting and project approvals. The overall programme is planned across approximately two years, with potential extension based on organisational needs.
