An insurance organisation is transforming its Non-Life Claims operations through a claims management application and customer declaration portals. This IT Project Test Analyst role combines test engineering, test management and hands-on API testing across Pega case management, a COBOL and SQL back office, and custom-built portal and document management solutions.
The mission
The Non-Life Claims transformation connects business process and workflow management with existing back-office services through APIs and ASB integrations. The work covers medium- to large-scale projects where reliable system interactions, complete end-to-end flows and accurate claims processing are important to daily insurance operations.
You will work with business analysts, functional analysts, architects and developers to turn business and technical requirements into a structured test approach. Your scope will include test strategy, master test planning, test design, test execution, incident investigation and defect follow-up across System Testing, Integration Testing and SIT.
Your responsibilities
- Define and maintain the test strategy, master test plan, test scope, test levels and high-level test structure.
- Analyse requirements and business processes to identify quality risks and determine appropriate test coverage.
- Design, prepare and execute functional, system, integration and end-to-end test scenarios, including the required test data.
- Investigate unexpected behaviour and incidents across APIs, integrations, messaging components and complete transaction flows, supporting root-cause analysis.
- Coordinate testing activities with project stakeholders, report progress and communicate risks, coverage and open issues.
- Manage defects from identification through prioritisation, reporting, retesting and closure, while supporting regression testing for releases.
