A major Belgian financial institution is expanding its IT Strategy Office, which coordinates strategy, governance and cross-functional initiatives across the technology organisation within Belgium’s banking sector. As a senior IT Strategy Analyst, you will combine IT project management and PMO coordination to consolidate input from solution architects, project managers and IT managers, prepare governance materials and support the execution of IT strategy.
The mission
The IT Strategy Office provides structure and oversight for initiatives spanning IT strategy execution, the IT Strategy Board, the IT4IT project portfolio and AI-related initiatives in banking. Its work gives senior technology leadership a consolidated view of priorities, budgets, progress and decisions across multiple workstreams. The role sits at the intersection of IT governance, architecture, project delivery and senior management communication.
You will coordinate deliverables and updates from a broad stakeholder group, maintain the IT SO backlog and support the formalisation of the organisation’s technology strategy. Your work will connect day-to-day follow-up with longer-term planning, ensuring that decisions, actions and outputs are clearly documented and progressed. You will also contribute to IT Strategy Office governance and improve the way the team prepares, reviews and publishes its deliverables.
