A Belgian public-sector lottery organisation headquartered in Brussels, Belgium operates one of the country's largest e-commerce ecosystems, combining 6,748 retail outlets with mobile and web channels. Its digital team develops customer-facing web portals for lottery games, account services and content with Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 and above, Java and React JS. This Medior AEM Developer role in Brussels focuses on reusable AEM components, content integrations and reliable releases across the retail and digital platform.
The mission
Online activity represents 29.7% of total stakes, with 76.2% of online sales made through the mobile app, while peak demand can reach 5,000 entries per minute. Adobe Experience Manager is delivered through Adobe Managed Services, so the landscape includes AEM architecture, dispatcher configuration, deployment and release procedures. The platform connects retail transactions, mobile journeys, e-commerce content and web portals used across Belgium.
You will develop and maintain the AEM layer behind these journeys, from reusable authoring components to Java services and external integrations. Your work will connect content, frontend and release activities, while keeping code testable and suitable for managed-service operations. Delivery can follow Agile or Waterfall methods, depending on the initiative.
