Job description
We are looking for a Microsoft Purview Engineer to help protect data according to its classification and the Federal Information Security Policy. You will set up and configure controls across collaboration spaces, file directories and databases, using security levels defined by data owners.
Your role
- Set up Microsoft Purview for data protection.
- Work with the data manager to gather the required security levels for each dataset.
- Configure protection to match those levels, including controls that prevent strictly confidential data from leaving the environment.
You have
- At least ten years of experience with Microsoft Defender.
- At least ten years of experience in Microsoft 365 E5 administration.
- At least ten years of experience with Microsoft Purview, including information protection, DLP and auto-labelling.
- English at C1 level.
- Dutch or French at C1 level.
A plus
- At least five years of experience as an IT Security Specialist, including work in the role within the past year.
- Information Protection Administrator SC-400 certification or Microsoft Purview DLP Applied Skills credential.
- At least an IT graduate degree.
- Communication skills.
- Analytical skills.
