A banking organisation is digitalising its investment products, improving access to them and delivering regulatory changes. The senior Process Engineer manages end-to-end execution-only processes for banking clients, combining process design, continuous improvement, risk control and change support.
The mission
Investment processes require coordination between business, IT and operational teams. They must support customer access, efficiency, simplicity and risk management. The role covers the full process lifecycle, from analysing current execution-only processes to designing new or amended processes, contributing to application changes and supporting implementation.
Your analysis draws on key indicators, customer complaints, operational input and dedicated studies. You work with the teams performing the processes to identify practical improvements. You create documentation that is easy to consult and use for standard implementation, incident resolution and later adjustments. Processes and documentation must follow internal and external guidance, including legal, compliance and control requirements.
During ideation, you work with business and IT partners to assess solutions against customer and employee needs, strategic objectives, efficiency and risk management. You identify change needs, coordinate the relevant steps, answer questions after implementation and support users as new or amended processes and applications are adopted.
Your responsibilities
- Define and implement new business processes within business architecture principles and strategic objectives.
- Adjust existing processes to improve customer satisfaction, efficiency, simplicity and risk management.
- Monitor process performance using indicators, complaints and operational input.
- Analyse needs and contribute to defining and testing application changes.
- Produce and maintain clear documentation for implementation, incidents and process adjustments.
- Coordinate business, IT, operational and control stakeholders throughout process changes.
- Guide users through implementation and provide follow-up support after changes.
Your profile
Essential skills
- 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Good knowledge of specific tools for process management.
- Knowledge of the business context of investment or banking.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques for process improvement.
- Strong understanding of risk management and control.
- Excellent analysis, structuring and process modelling skills.
- Effective written and spoken communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation.
- Customer-oriented, tenacious and able to collaborate constructively in a team.
- Ability to organise work independently and estimate task scope and complexity.
Preferred skills
- Basic knowledge of business architecture.
- Familiarity with automation, including IT and robotisation.
- Knowledge of data management.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum ways of working.
- Knowledge of change management.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
Working context
- You work in a multidisciplinary Agile team with business and IT partners.
- The team defines, builds, tests and implements part of a product or service in time-limited increments.
- You contribute to planned sprint work beyond your specific area of expertise, with stories prioritised by the Product Owner.
- You organise your work independently and commit through Agile ceremonies, including quarterly Agile planning.
- No travel is required.
