Product Owner

We're looking for a senior Product Owner to shape and deliver SEPA Direct Debit services across creditor and debtor processes. You'll manage the product backlog and coordinate payment connectivity with PSPs and multiple clearing and settlement houses, working with stakeholders across related payment products.

What you'll do

• Set product priorities and delivery plans, balancing business value and quality.
• Represent the product and its priorities when working with stakeholders.
• Refine features and user stories, assessing value before prioritising delivery.
• Manage the product backlog, plan iterations and elaborate user stories for delivery.
• Define objectives and track results against delivery plans.
• Coordinate dependencies across creditor, debtor and PSP connectivity needs.

What you bring

• At least seven years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of payments and receivables, including creditor and debtor needs.
• Expertise in agile methodologies and project management.
• Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Analytical and strategic thinking, with a structured, quality-minded approach and attention to detail.
• Clear communication, negotiation and persuasion skills for stakeholder discussions.
• Ability to align, coach and motivate people around shared goals.
• A customer-focused mindset and affinity with IT topics.
• Dutch or French (B2); English (B2).
• A Master's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Product knowledge of receivables.
• Financial services experience, preferably in payments.
• A business analyst background with technical affinity.

Good to know

• Occasional travel to Paris or Lisbon.
