We're looking for a senior IT project manager to deliver a system for managing speed cameras and mobile radars. You'll shape the delivery roadmap and guide the move from current processes to an agreed target setup.
What you'll do
- Define project scope, milestones, dependencies and delivery plans.
- Track budgets and adjust plans when priorities change.
- Coordinate business analysts to assess current and target processes.
- Report progress, risks and decisions, including proposed mitigation measures.
- Lead stakeholder communications and activities.
- Prepare handover documentation for the operations team.
What you bring
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience leading technical IT projects.
- Experience with and for and knowledge sharing.
- Experience delivering projects in the public sector.
- Vendor management and the ability to align internal and external partners.
- Risk and quality management, including mitigation measures and quality plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proposals supported by facts and data.
- A structured approach to setting KPIs and following up actions.
- Clear written and spoken communication, including explaining complex ideas and recording decisions.
- Discretion and reliability when handling sensitive information.
- or (native), with strong passive knowledge of the other language.
