A public-sector programme in the judicial domain is developing JustCase, a central case management system designed to unify and digitise processes across the judicial order. The programme includes NoodWet, NSWB, JustCase Youth and JustCase Labour, with delivery teams working across .NET, Microsoft Dynamics and PM2. This junior Project Manager role coordinates related workstreams through Agile and Prince2 project practices, linking business, ICT and external partners.
The mission
JustCase is still in active development, so project governance needs to keep each initiative aligned with the overall roadmap. The work combines business requirements, ICT delivery and partner coordination around a central case management system for judicial processes. Across one or more projects, you will follow planning, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, issues and changes. Regular reporting to SteerCo and management will support decisions on progress, quality, deadlines and corrective action.
Your day-to-day scope is operational project management rather than product ownership or software development. You will organise follow-up with business and ICT teams, maintain delivery information, prepare governance updates and ensure agreed actions lead to completed deliverables. You will also connect decisions in individual workstreams to the wider JustCase roadmap and contribute to more consistent project management practices. The role is suited to someone with 2-5 years of IT project management experience in complex environments involving multiple stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Drive project plans for one or more JustCase workstreams, keeping milestones, budgets, resources and dependencies aligned.
- Coordinate business, ICT and external partner teams so responsibilities, decisions and deliverables remain clear.
- Manage risks, issues and changes, ensuring deviations receive timely analysis, ownership and follow-up.
- Produce structured reporting for SteerCo and management, showing progress, decisions, blockers and next steps.
- Safeguard the quality and timely completion of deliverables through consistent action and acceptance follow-up.
- Improve project management practices and maintain coherence between workstreams and the programme roadmap.
