A Belgian financial services organisation is coordinating delivery across its CFO department and several data initiatives. As a project manager supporting data initiatives, you will manage the evolutionary maintenance backlog, coordinate data access workflows, and apply data project management practices through Jira and Confluence.
The mission
The scope combines MEVO, the evolutionary maintenance stream for the CFO department, with data monitoring activities. You will manage incoming MEVO topics through the existing process, make sure each item has an owner and next step, and keep the relevant stakeholders informed. The data work covers defining access profiles for a centralised database, automating access provisioning, and processing incoming requests. This gives the organisation a consistent way to maintain CFO-related services while keeping data access controlled and traceable.
On a day-to-day basis, you will coordinate business and technical teams jointly with the BUPO and TPO. You will capture and translate business needs, mature them into actionable requests for development teams, follow progress, and coordinate open points through to resolution. You will identify delivery risks, agree mitigation actions with the relevant stakeholders, and communicate changes clearly. The role requires independent ownership of delivery while maintaining a pragmatic, rigorous and collaborative working style.
Your responsibilities
- Manage the evolutionary maintenance backlog, prioritising incoming items and maintaining clear ownership, status and next steps.
- Govern the end-to-end MEVO process, ensuring topics are processed, tracked and communicated to stakeholders.
- Review and improve the maintenance workflow by comparing it with practices already used elsewhere in the department.
- Coordinate data access management with the BUPO, defining access profiles and helping automate access to the centralised database.
- Process incoming data access requests, ensuring decisions and provisioning steps remain traceable.
- Translate business needs for development teams, coordinate delivery with BUPO and TPO, and mitigate risks and open points.

Essential skills
- Bring medior-level project management experience and an initial professional understanding of data domain principles and delivery implications.
- Use Jira and Confluence confidently for backlog management, workflow follow-up, documentation and stakeholder visibility.
- Work with collaborative tools, including SharePoint, Jira and Confluence, to maintain consistent project information.
- Coordinate business and technical teams and translate business needs into clear, actionable input for development teams.
- Demonstrate pragmatic, autonomous and rigorous delivery behaviour, with clear communication and effective stakeholder coordination.
