We're looking for a Project Engineer to design and deliver pumping stations, pressure mains and storage and settling basins, from preliminary design through commissioning and aftercare. You'll lead the electromechanical scope, coordinate stakeholders and use hydraulic expertise and modelling software across the project lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Assess and compare technical scenarios to define project scope and schedule.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed designs and tender documents within agreed constraints.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, guiding colleagues and balancing quality, budget and timing.
- Organise tendering and awards, then lead contractors through construction and commissioning.
- Monitor contractor safety and installation quality, budget and schedule during delivery.
- Coordinate acceptance, trial periods, handover, aftercare, claims and damage cases.
What you bring
- Medior-level project engineering experience in electromechanics.
- BA5 qualification and a valid BA competence certificate, or a valid BA authorisation certificate.
- A strong interest in electrical engineering and water engineering.
- Project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- VCA (Safety Checklist for Contractors).
- Dutch at C1 level.
Nice to have
- Budgeting experience.
- Knowledge of pump systems and water hammer.
