An energy-sector organisation supports projects and development teams across complex application and integration landscapes. As a senior QA and engineer, you will shape the testing approach, coordinate quality activities and build automation frameworks, combining hands-on testing with coaching and stakeholder coordination.
The mission
A multidisciplinary test team works across project delivery and teams, bringing together test coordination, functional and technical testing, quality management, Quality Engineering and automation. You will prepare and coordinate testing from requirements through release validation, using formal methods and a pragmatic, risk-based approach suited to interconnected enterprise applications.
Your scope includes integration, regression, end-to-end and , as well as improving test processes, test levels, governance and automation. You will work closely with business, IT, suppliers and testing colleagues, and help teams involve testing earlier in development.
Your responsibilities

Your profile
Essential skills
- Eight years of experience as a test specialist.
- Ten years of in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience testing in /Scrum projects and applying formal test methods and techniques.
- Experience analysing and translating them into test scenarios and test cases.
- Experience defining test strategies, plans and approaches for complex application landscapes.
- Five years of experience with integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with programmable using , WebdriverIO, , or equivalent tools.
- Experience designing or maintaining a framework, coaching testers and coordinating across business, development and testing.
- Clear communication skills and a hands-on approach.
Preferred skills
- Experience writing test scenarios and integrating test automation with .
- Experience in functional and technical testing, quality management and Quality Engineering.
- Knowledge of shift-left testing, , Tricentis Tosca and enterprise test automation.
Languages
