SAP ABAP Developer (Senior)

We're looking for a senior SAP backend developer to build SAP S/4HANA extensions and interfaces for SAP IS-U processes. You'll own development packages from technical specifications to testing and documentation.

What you'll do

• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and estimates.
• Develop modular code following development standards.
• Validate code with unit, performance, mass processing and connectivity tests.
• Resolve defects found during testing and production.
• Address non-functional requirements with SAP Basis specialists.
• Mentor junior developers on specifications and implementation.

What you bring

• At least 10 years of SAP backend development experience.
• Five years of SAP IS-U development experience supporting utilities processes.
• SAP S/4HANA development, classical ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.
• SAP standard extensions: User-Exit, BAdI and Enhancement Spot.
• Interface development: IDoc/ALE, BAPI/RFC, SOAP Web Services, OData and SAP Gateway.
• English (C1).
• French or Dutch (B2).

Nice to have

• SAP ABAP Workbench, Eclipse/ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC).
• Business Object Repository Objects (BOR), CDS Views, LSMW and EMIGALL.
• Experience across at least three SAP IS-U domains: Device Management, Structuring/Switching, Metering, Energy Data Management, Billing, Customer Services or Advanced Metering Infrastructure.
• Web Dynpro, BRF+, BPEM/EMMA, BOL, SAP CRM and MPM/IDEX-GC Framework.
• S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Dynpro/Dialog Programming, FEH, BOPF and FPM.
• SAP Fiori development, Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Designer, Web-IDE, Business Application Studio (BAS) and Adobe Forms.
• Jira, Omnitracker, SAP Solution Manager and SOAP UI.
• SAP Notes, performance analysis and tuning, and query optimisation.
• Master's degree in IT, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a scientific field.
