Job description
We are looking for an SAP FS-CD Functional Consultant to design, configure and support a subledger used for insurance collections and disbursements. You will connect business processes with financial accounting and work with business and technical teams on reliable, compliant solutions.
Your role
- Analyse requirements for collections, payments, receivables, disbursements and account management, and run stakeholder workshops.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and solution designs, assess gaps and favour standard SAP functionality where appropriate.
- Configure and maintain SAP FS-CD and its integration with SAP FI/CO.
- Define accounting, posting and interface requirements, and document processes, configuration and solution decisions.
- Work with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, APIs, jobs and data flows. Investigate integration errors and support end-to-end reconciliation.
- Prepare RICEF specifications, conduct unit, integration and user acceptance tests, and provide training and documentation.
A plus
- Expert knowledge of SAP FS-CD functional architecture.
- Configuration of the SAP FS-CD subledger process model.
- Definition of general ledger integration with SAP FI/CO.
- At least four years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FS-CD.
- Strong expertise in SAP Core Insurance integration, including systems such as FS-PM, FS-CM and FS-ICM.
- Good general knowledge of financial accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of disbursement processing.
- Strong knowledge of collections and payment processes in property and casualty insurance, health insurance or motor insurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
