Job description
We are looking for an SAP FS-CM Functional Consultant and Developer to design, configure and support claims management solutions. This mission combines functional consulting and ABAP development across the claims lifecycle, from coverage and reserves to payments and recovery.
Your role
- Translate claims and operations requirements into SAP FS-CM solutions.
- Configure claims products, process models, statuses, reserves, payments and recovery processes.
- Define fraud management rules and manage integrations with SAP FS-CD, FS-PM, FICO/GL and external systems.
- Document functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.
- Develop and debug ABAP programs and extend FS-CM components.
- Carry out unit, integration and user acceptance testing, and provide training and documentation.
- Contribute to upgrades, patching and performance optimisation.
A plus
- At least three years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FS-CM.
- Expert knowledge of the functional and technical architecture of SAP FS-CM.
- Expertise in functional customising of SAP FS-CM.
- Configuration of the Claim Process Model.
- Configuration of coverage determination.
- A thorough understanding of claims payments.
- A thorough understanding of claims reserves.
- Advanced ABAP development skills in the SAP FS-CM context.
- Experience with SAP FS-CM development objects, including custom events and enhancements.
- Proficiency in debugging.
- Proficiency in performance analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP data models, particularly in FS-CM.
- A strong understanding of insurance claims processes in at least one major insurance line.
- Strong knowledge or experience of integration with SAP FS-PM.
- Strong knowledge or experience of integration with SAP FS-CD.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
