A major Belgian banking institution is revitalising a client-facing Treasury steering tool that turns Cash Management data into insights on corporate banking relationships. As a Senior Data Analyst in Brussels, Belgium, you will own data preparation and analysis, rebuild ETL flows, and support the migration of an existing solution from Alteryx to Dataiku within an international Transaction Banking environment.
The mission
The tool is being redesigned to restore its data foundations, clarify its value for corporate clients, and align its interfaces with new bank IT standards. It sits within a Cash Management Competence Center that connects Payments, Treasury, Cash Management and Transaction Banking stakeholders with data providers and bank IT. The work centres on Cash Management data analysis, data quality, sourcing and governance rather than on a standalone reporting exercise.
Your day-to-day scope covers the existing solution in business-as-usual operation and its transition to the target environment. You will inventory Alteryx flows, assess what must be migrated, plan the sequence, and prepare the corresponding Dataiku data pipelines. You will answer business questions, investigate data quality issues with users and data providers, and monitor delivery. Your findings will inform process improvements and future features for a client-facing banking product.
Your responsibilities
- Restore reliable data foundations by preparing, blending and analysing information from multiple sources.
- Inventory existing Alteryx flows, define migration priorities and monitor the transition to the new IT environment.
- Build Dataiku data pipelines and automated scenarios that meet the product’s functional and technical requirements.
- Diagnose data quality issues, identify their root causes and coordinate corrective actions with data providers.
- Translate business questions into clear analyses and recommendations for stakeholders across business and IT teams.
- Improve existing processes by challenging assumptions and assessing proposals for new analytical features.
