Job description
We are looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant to help shape a global Dynamics 365 transformation. The programme brings service and distribution processes across multiple countries into a shared template, replacing unnecessary customisation with standard functionality and Microsoft best practices. Your mission combines functional design, architectural input and hands-on configuration to make complex service processes scalable while keeping local needs in view.
Your role
- Take ownership of end-to-end service processes in Dynamics 365 Field Service.
- Advise business stakeholders on standard platform capabilities and constructively challenge complex or non-standard requirements.
- Configure Dynamics 365 Field Service and Dataverse directly.
- Design and improve work order, planning and dispatching processes.
- Configure resources, skills, territories, bookings and scheduling.
- Contribute to Field Service Mobile solutions for technical teams.
- Help define the global Dynamics template for international roll-outs.
- Support business workshops, testing, UAT, training and go-live activities.
- Work closely with architects, developers, SAP specialists and business stakeholders.
- Maintain the balance between global standardisation and local operational needs.
You have
- At least five years of experience in a functional role with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- In-depth expertise in Dynamics 365 Field Service.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
- Demonstrable experience with Dataverse.
- Experience configuring model-driven applications.
- Knowledge of work orders.
- Knowledge of resource scheduling.
- Knowledge of dispatching.
- Knowledge of service operations.
- Experience with mobile Dynamics solutions for field technicians.
- Strong understanding of business processes.
- Strong functional analysis skills.
- Experience with international or multi-country Dynamics projects.
- Experience in stakeholder management at senior level.
- English at C2 level.
- Dutch at C2 level.
- A clear sense of ownership for the work within your remit.
- Confidence in making decisions independently.
- A constructive approach to challenging requests for unnecessary customisation.
- The ability to make a clear case for standard solutions.
- The ability to work in a complex international environment.
- Understanding of how Dynamics interacts with SAP.
- Understanding of how Dynamics interacts with other business-critical systems.
- Experience with global Dynamics implementations focused on standardisation.
