We're looking for a senior datalink specialist to operate and maintain an ATM datalink test facility. You'll support ATN B1 interoperability testing and prepare ATS-B2 services for deployment.
What you'll do
- Operate, maintain and configure ATN routers, end systems and test tools.
- Plan and run interoperability tests and validation campaigns.
- Analyse datalink logs and investigate technical issues.
- Support ANSPs, airlines, CSPs and avionics manufacturers.
- Validate ATS-B2 services and support CP1/AF6 implementation.
- Document procedures and transfer knowledge for future testing capabilities.
What you bring
- Eight years' experience with ATM datalink systems, ATN architecture, CPDLC and ADS-C services.
- Five years in interoperability testing, validation campaigns and technical investigations.
- Five years operating, maintaining or configuring test facilities or validation platforms.
- Experience with ATN routers and ATN end systems.
- Five years supporting ANSPs, airlines, CSPs or manufacturers.
- Two years drafting technical reports, procedures and technical specifications.
- Two years with ATS-B2 services, CP1/AF6 activities and associated standards.
- Knowledge of CM applications, IP , communication systems and network architectures.
- Knowledge of ICAO ATN architecture and ATN protocol suite, and EUROCAE ATN B1 and ATS B2 Interoperability standards.
- University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.

- /Unix administration in operational or testing environments.
- Knowledge of ICAO, EUROCAE, RTCA and AEEC datalink standards.
- Knowledge of datalink deployment and operational environments.
- Knowledge transfer, transition and handover experience.
- Postgraduate qualification or specialisation in Air Traffic Management, Communications Systems or Network Technologies.
