Job description
We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to manage and evolve an F5 Advanced WAF infrastructure. You will help secure applications and connections while supporting the modernisation of IT systems and responding to security incidents.
Your role
- Install, configure and manage F5 Advanced WAF infrastructure.
- Develop and document security policies and follow up their application.
- Monitor the security of systems and respond to attacks, intrusions and other incidents.
- Analyse technical risks and implement solutions to address vulnerabilities.
- Advise on securing intranet and internet connections with external partners.
- Produce technical documentation and incident reports, working with network, systems, operations and project teams.
You have
- Expertise in router filtering.
- Expertise in stateful packet inspection firewalls.
- Expertise in web application firewalls.
- Expertise in security monitoring tools, such as Splunk, Nessus or Elastic SIEM.
- Expertise in log correlation tools.
- Expertise in TCP/IP.
- Expertise in HTTP and HTTPS.
- Expertise in SSL.
- Expertise in SNMP.
- Expertise in wireless network security, including Wi-Fi, WEP, WPA and WPA2.
- Expertise in encryption principles, including public keys.
- Expertise in remote-access VPN solutions.
- Expertise in site-to-site VPN solutions.
- Expertise in web proxy solutions.
- Expertise in terminal-server solutions, such as Citrix.
- Dutch at C1 level.
- French at C1 level.
- English at C1 level.
A plus
- At least ten years of experience in IT security.
- Expertise in installing, configuring and managing F5 Advanced WAF.
- Knowledge of F5 APM.
- Knowledge of F5 ASM.
- Knowledge of F5 LTM.
- Knowledge of identity providers.
- Knowledge of SSL VPN.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.
- Knowledge of Forcepoint firewalls.
- Knowledge of Panorama.
- Experience in technical risk analysis.
- Experience in vulnerability remediation.
- Ability to respond effectively to security incidents and crises.
- Clear technical documentation and reporting.
- Clear written communication.
- Clear verbal communication with teams and management.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A methodical and precise approach.
- A customer-oriented approach.
- Autonomy and initiative.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or electronics, or equivalent confirmed experience.
