Job description
We are looking for a Senior OT Solution Architect to map and structure an existing operational technology landscape spanning several generations of technology. This Neurho mission will create a reliable architectural baseline for defining the scope of on-call support. The aim is to make the systems, dependencies, recovery arrangements and specialist expertise needed during incidents clear, even where existing documentation is incomplete or unreliable.
Your role
- Analyse OT documentation, inventories, network diagrams, technical schematics and configuration data. Assess their reliability and identify where targeted technical verification is needed.
- Gather and validate information with technical specialists and suppliers to establish an accurate picture of the existing environment.
- Structure technologies, devices and assets across the field, control, supervisory, communication, integration, development and configuration, and access and security layers.
- Map system relationships, interfaces and dependencies, including reliance on OEMs, suppliers, specialist tools and expertise, and the access needed for intervention.
- Document intervention prerequisites, including development and configuration environments, software versions and licences. Map backup, restore and redundancy arrangements to support disaster recovery planning.
- Produce clear ArchiMate diagrams. Choose the level of detail that supports diagnosis, intervention, recovery and escalation, recording components individually or grouping them where appropriate.
- Deliver a structured architecture overview, an inventory of relevant systems and assets, intervention prerequisites, and a record of missing or uncertain information.
- Report to the Enterprise Architect and work closely with operations and process automation specialists.
You have
- At least five years' experience as a specialist domain architect or Enterprise Architect.
- At least five years' experience translating technical information into clear architecture diagrams in ArchiMate.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and practical experience with TOGAF.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and practical experience with UML.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and practical experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- At least five years' experience in complex technical environments with incomplete, outdated or unreliable documentation.
- At least five years' experience analysing and structuring existing OT architectures.
- Good communication skills, demonstrated over at least five years of working with technical stakeholders.
- At least five years' experience gathering and validating technical information with different technical stakeholders.
- At least five years' experience distinguishing technical detail from information needed to respond effectively to incidents.
- At least five years' experience in operational technology (OT) environments.
- At least five years' experience identifying technical dependencies and technical risks relevant to incident response.
- The ability to identify when specialist technical expertise is needed.
- Sufficient technical depth to understand a complex OT environment.
- Dutch at C2 level.
A plus
- Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with business processes.
- Knowledge of and experience with project management, including costs, timelines, coordination, planning and estimation.
- Broad architecture knowledge across technical domains, including infrastructure, applications, security, data and processes.
- Proven experience as a specialist architect in at least one domain, such as infrastructure, applications, security, data or processes.
- Experience in the utilities sector.
- Experience with legacy OT landscapes that have evolved over time.
