A major Belgian financial institution is strengthening its Information Agile Production Services (APS) Tribe, which provides end-to-end production services for product teams, including L2/L3 go-live support, service availability, and 24/7 on-call coverage. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will coordinate infrastructure initiatives across APS, interpret technical and complex infrastructure architecture design documents, and connect business stakeholders, IT operations, and external suppliers. The role supports delivery across six APS teams and operates within a European banking environment.
The mission
The Information Agile Production Services Tribe manages the production capabilities that keep product teams operational after delivery. Its TechEx team acts as a technology reference point for infrastructure and operations, sharing technical practices across APS teams and coordinating with wider group technology partners. This infrastructure project manager role contributes to initiatives where service availability, technical quality, budget, and operational readiness must be managed together.
As an Agile Project Manager, you may act as Initiative Owner for an IT production initiative or support a business Initiative Owner through delivery. You will coordinate feature delivery, consolidate status information, manage dependencies and impediments, and organise the ceremonies required to maintain progress. Your work will connect initiative-level decisions with delivery teams, APS management, and stakeholders from the business and supplier community.
Your responsibilities
- Own the delivery of IT production initiatives, ensuring that scope, value, budget, quality, and expected results remain aligned.
- Coordinate Initiative Owners, Feature Delivery Owners, APS Project Managers, technical teams, and suppliers across the delivery lifecycle.
- Monitor feature progress, dependencies, risks, and impediments, then drive resolution at initiative, opus, or feature level.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and conflict resolution so that decisions are documented, understood, and actionable.
- Protect delivery teams from unplanned workload, while maintaining clear communication with APS management and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the Scrum of Scrum and Quarterly Agile Planning activities across the APS organisation.
