Job description
We are looking for a Senior WinDev Developer to analyse, document, maintain and improve two applications covering school management and workplace health and safety. The mission combines architecture assessment with hands-on corrective and evolutionary maintenance. Working closely with business and IT teams, you will help maintain service continuity, reduce technical risks and make the applications easier to operate and maintain over time.
Your role
- Carry out a technical audit of both applications and map their architecture: components, HFSQL databases, interfaces, data flows, synchronisation, replication, document generation and access controls.
- Produce architecture documentation that both technical and business teams can use.
- Identify and document operational dependencies, including licences, server and workstation infrastructure, deployment procedures, backups, recovery, source code repositories and version control tools.
- Assess how readily maintenance can be taken over, and document the procedures needed to support it.
- Analyse technical, operational and organisational risks, including data loss or corruption, security, technology dependencies and code maintainability. Propose prioritised corrective and preventive actions and modernisation recommendations.
- Investigate incidents and support requests, diagnose faults and implement appropriate fixes.
- Develop agreed functional improvements, carry out technical testing, support user acceptance testing and deploy fixes and enhancements.
- Advise business and IT teams and produce regular maintenance reports tracking business requests.
You have
- At least ten years of experience as an Application Architect, with practice within the past 12 months.
- At least ten years of experience in technical analysis, with practice within the past 12 months.
- At least ten years of experience developing WinDev thick-client applications, with practice within the past 12 months.

- At least ten years of experience with HFSQL Classic, with use within the past 12 months.

- At least five years of experience in WinDev application generation, compilation and deployment, with practice within the past 12 months.
- At least five years of experience with Git, Subversion or an equivalent version control tool, with use within the past 12 months.
