A federal public service is modernising business applications and developing new functionality across several operational processes. This full-stack developer works with Angular and Spring Boot, with a focus on application security, maintainability, performance and technical sustainability.

The mission

The work covers modernising or rewriting existing features and developing new ones. New applications use Angular 17+ and Spring Boot, while existing processes combine Java EE, JSF, Access and manual workflows.

You support existing development teams according to their needs and planning. Assignments can include evolving data models and integration flows, progressively migrating applications, and maintaining the quality and consistency of shared data.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop new business functionality with Angular and Spring Boot.
  • Modernise or rewrite features in existing applications.
  • Improve application security, maintainability, performance and technical sustainability.
  • Evolve data models and integration flows across connected applications.
  • Migrate existing applications progressively while preserving data quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with existing development teams and their delivery plans.

Your profile

Essential skills

  • At least five years' experience with Angular, version 9 or later.
  • At least five years' experience with Spring Boot.
  • Experience with .NET, Java, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
  • Experience with REST.
  • Experience working with SQL.

  • English (B2)
  • French (B2)
  • Dutch (B2)
