We're looking for a senior French-language storyteller to create clear, engaging content across channels, with a focus on SEO and GEO. You'll turn editorial and technical subjects into accessible stories and improve their visibility in search engines and AI-generated answers.
What you'll do
- Turn briefs into useful content aligned with business goals.
- Write articles, emails, social posts, scripts and web copy.
- Optimise content for SEO and GEO, including AI-generated answers.
- Use AI tools to draft, optimise and translate content.
- Translate and adapt Dutch-language copy into French.
- Review performance metrics and recommend content improvements.
What you bring
- At least six years of storytelling or editorial writing experience.
- Journalistic background, with experience writing thought leadership or accessible technical content.
- Excellent editorial writing and a strong sense of clarity.
- SEO content optimisation experience.
- Experience using AI tools for writing, optimisation and translation.
- French (C2), Dutch (C1) and English (B2), including adapting Dutch and English content into French.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, languages or literature, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- GEO optimisation experience and Surfer SEO.
- Understanding of marketing funnels and customer journeys.
- Ability to interpret engagement, reach, CTR and SOV metrics.
- Agile ways of working.
Good to know
- Include writing samples, such as a social post, article and email.
- Availability from 80%, ideally full-time.
